OK, it's been a few days. I'm done grieving. I think. (Unlike last year's loss, when I was grieving until this friggin' season started! I truly believed that that season was ours. Oh well.)

It was a valiant effort, but my beloved Boys in Blue just didn't pull through. My heart bled, but after the initial jolt of pain and disappointment, I've become hopeful. There is next year. And it looks promising.

Hey, win or lose, right? I thank the team for a good season. It was shorter than I had hoped, but it was a good season nonetheless. 'Til next year!
